The school has surveyed all staff as well as the parents on their children’s travel arrangements. Those who have travelled to affected areas are either secondary screening at home for 14 days or have chosen to keep their children away from school.
School has asked parents that continue to travel during this period to keep us informed so we can advise any additional measures. Parents who are travelling should be aware of all up to date travel information before they travel and be prepared for the eventuality that the travel advisory may change during their time away.
School is currently doing temperature screening of visitors to the school. Visitors are only allowed onto the campus if they have a prior appointment and when they come into school they have to complete a travel declaration form. This includes external ASA providers.
We undertake daily cleaning of all areas of the school with regular sanitisation of classrooms surfaces, door handles and stair rails.
The teachers are encouraging good hygiene among all students and regular hand washing with soap takes place as well as providing hand sanitizer in each classroom and around the campus. As per our normal procedure, students who appear unwell are being screened by the school nurse and will be sent home immediately if they present with flu-like symptoms and/or a temperature over 37.5.
Please see the latest updates for current measures additional to these.
