We determine the year groups for students based on the British education system.

| 5 | Year 1 | Infants |
| 6 | Year 2 | Infants |
| 7 | Year 3 | Juniors |
| 8 | Year 4 | Juniors |
| 9 | Year 5 | Juniors |
| 10 | Year 6 | Juniors |
On occasion, children may be placed in the class one year below that dictated by their chronological age. This is at the discretion of the Principal. Children will not be put in a class above their chronological age.
