This is an area which encompasses many of the 'hidden' curricular areas. It is an umbrella term which shelters subjects such as pastoral care, religious education, sex education, health and hygiene, drugs and alcohol abuse and community awareness. Through P.S.H.E. the children are enabled to develop a strong sense of self and, it is hoped, will become valued members of society as a result.

We pride ourselves on the excellent relationship that exists between parents, pupils, staff and the community. This relationship is enhanced by the P.S.H.E. program, which encourages parental involvement in both the decision making processes themselves and in the implementation of those decisions through the strong support that we have from our Governors.

Parents are also welcome to attend our class assemblies, which normally take place twice a year for each class. These presentations highlight the work of the class and where appropriate any religious focus.

Through moral assemblies the children learn to respect

all religions practiced in Malaysia.

P.S.H.E. is a way of bringing everyone connected to the St. Christopher's 'family' together and allows the children to explore sensitive issues in a safe and caring environment. As a school we don't claim to have all the answers, but we can provide the children with up-to-date resources and information so that they are able to make informed decisions.  One of our new initiatives developed in recent years is the Prefects system. This also aims to give the older students added responsibilities to enhance opportunities to help others in the school.
