Year 6 Sabah Trip

The amazing state Sabah, covered in a thick jungle, is well known as 'the land below the wind' and this was our Y6 residential location.

We got the chance to stay at three different locations. While staying at the cool lodges of Mount Kinabalu. We travelled across the 15 metre high canopy walk. Also we got the chance to go into the jungle in the dark, getting very close to the local habitat and visit the Poring Hotsprings.

At Manukan Island we explored the sea by diving and luckily we got to see sea cucumber, clown fish, various clams, a variety of sea coral and puffer fish.
Our last destination was the fabulous Rasa Ria Resort, giving us the chance to get to see orang-utans being rehabilitated and supported by rangers who gave us a wealth of information. We also got the chance to relax at this hotel and test the famous chocolate fountain, it was delicious!
