Primary Performing Arts Carnival

Our school was incredibly privileged to be the host school for the first ever FOBISSEA Primary Performing Arts Carnival.  With it being the first one, the pressure was on to prove this would be a worthwhile addition to the calendar, and we were determined to make it a big success.  The theme of “Amazing Asia” was chosen to help the children fully appreciate the area of the world they are living in.

To ensure the children got the opportunity to experience all areas of the Performing Arts, they participated in workshops.  These included puppetry, Bollywood dancing, improvisation, conducting, and martial arts choreography.

"It was great to see the children embracing these new skills and how keen they were to use what they had learnt." R. Caine (Primary Performing Arts Carnival organiser)

We would llike to thank Miss Caine for all her hard work organising the whole event and to Ms Yi-Yiing, Ms Chee, and Ms Joanne for their support.
