Humanities is the combination of the study of Geography and History.

St. Christopher's we strive to enhance the children's education by joining these two areas of the curriculum. These subjects are taught through a topic based approach developed in units to follow the National Curriculum. Where relevant though the units of work have been adapted to reflect the nature of the school community, the location of the school in the world and the history of our own region which we value to be important. Field trips  are seen as an important part of the Humanities curriculum throughout our school from Nursery to Yr 6. We have also extended our range of class trips to include residential trips for all classes in Key Stage 2.

These are the topics taught and the proposed field trips from Nursery to Year 6  and the Residential Trips for Years 3,4,5 and 6.
