ICT is given a high priority at St. Christopher's , we see one of the most important aspects of ICT as provision. As such the school has invested heavily in hardware , software and teacher training to give every child the opportunity to develop his or her IT skills.

The school has a state of the art networked ICT suite. This room has 26 networked and internet ready computers. Each class is timetabled for this room enabling all children to have quality IT time each week. The room is also used for teacher professional development and after school activities.

Every class from Reception to Year 6 has two multimedia computers with printers, the Nursery classes have 3 multimedia computers.

IT. is taught as an individual subject as reflects its core subject status. in Key Stage 1 and 2 we follow the Q.C.A schemes of work ,the Early years follows the Folens IT works program of study. The skills learnt are applied to every other subject in the curriculum.

Each classroom in Key Stage 1 and 2 are connected to the network and internet, allowing access to even more information and the sharing of resources.

The school has also developed its own intranet, to facilitate more effective communication and the sharing of information. We have also developed the using of Smartboards from Reception to Year 6.
