St. Christopher’s International Primary School is a non-denominational, not-for-profit making establishment that celebrated its 40^th anniversary.  We are very proud of both our history and our achievements and recognise that one of our greatest strengths has always been the quality and professionalism of our staff.  Consequently, our recruitment process is very thorough as we feel that maintaining the balance and ethos of our school deserves our utmost consideration.

As a result of both a growth in enrolment and contracts having come to a natural end, we have vacancies for September 2008 and would like to invite applications from suitably qualified candidates.  Candidates should have a minimum of three years teaching experience (teaching and learning environment) and should be excellent classroom practitioners. A flexible, child-centred approach to education is one of the hallmarks of our school, so interested candidates will be asked to demonstrate their willingness and ability to adopt this approach. 

In addition, candidates should be aware that at St. Christopher’s, the role of the class teacher extends far beyond the confines of the classroom, or indeed the school itself, and that expectations concerning commitment and performance are high.  In return, however, the school offers a family-style atmosphere and warmth of welcome that we feel is unparalleled, as well as the opportunity for successful candidates to continue their professional development in a supportive and unique environment.
